Commissioning Coordinator – Drug, Alcohol & Wellbeing

Location | Location Flexible – Erina, Newcastle, Armidale or Tamworth  

Hours | Full-time (1.0FTE)*

Annual full-time equivalent salary | $85,915 – $93,451+ super + salary packaging**

About the role 
In this role you will work with key activity stakeholders to coordinate the design, procurement and ongoing monitoring and management of clinically appropriate, locally responsive programs (as assigned to you) and projects that are delivered across the region.  As well as providing subject matter expertise and leadership regarding the assigned programs and contribute to the development of all relevant procurement documents and evaluation of tender submissions, whilst ensuring that all HNECC contract deliverables are met for outcomes specific to the assigned programs.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, social welfare, or business field.
  • 12 months experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, consensus-building, data analysis and consultation skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to achieve organisational/contract goals and performance,
  • Ability to work independently, and in a collaborative team. Set objectives and meet these within appropriate timeframes.

Additional Information 

*PHN’s have been funded by the Department of Health since 2015. All roles at our PHN are maximum-term and linked to our funding contracts with the Department of Health. This is a maximum term contract until 30 June 2025 and any contract extensions are dependent on ongoing funding. 

**Salary: This role is classified as Level 3, Grade 1 – 5 within our Enterprise Agreement and the rate will be dependent on skills. 

The current PHN policy requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
