Community Clinician – 26+ 

  • Subject to qualification and experience 
  • 7 day roster cycle including afternoon shifts

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an appropriately qualified Mental Health Clinician to join our Warragul Mental Health 26+ Program on a full time or part time, ongoing basis. 

 

Warragul Community Mental Health provides local community support to patients, their families & carers during their patient journey in acute episodes within recovery and treatment. 

 

The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for performing urgent acute clinical assessment and routine assessment, working with consumers and carers in safety planning and promoting and delivering high-quality, evidence based holistic treatment (pharmacological and therapeutic intervention) within a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Qualification: Registered Nurse with post basic qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Worker approved for membership to AASW, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years post registration experience in Mental Health
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
