About the Job
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of work experience and work-like activities within the community to assist our participants improve their work readiness and development of work skills to successfully progress them towards employment.
Every day will be different as you create unique and exciting pathways for our participants to progress and achieve their goals. Your day could see you out on the road visiting employers and community organisations within the region, or you may be office based completing the required documentation or meeting with participants.
The role is what you make it, with success measured on your ability to create and grow positive relationships and create pathways for our participants.
About You
You thrive on the challenge of developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with various stakeholders such as participants, employers, training organisations and various community groups.
You may come from a variety of backgrounds including but not limited to retail, hospitality. community services, or administration. Whilst no prior industry experience is required, what you do need is the self-motivation and confidence to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders to support participants in achieving employment skills and ultimately employment. You must thrive on the challenge of meeting deadlines whilst having the sound administration skills to ensure that compliance requirements are met. Overall you must be driven and excited to consistently hit performance targets whilst always maintaining your focus to build stronger communities through the creation of activities for our participants.
A drivers licence, police check and working with children check are required on commencement. Routine travel throughout the region is also a requirement and may involve overnight stays.
