The Casey Area Mental Health Service is led by an innovative and supportive leadership team seeking to provide an innovative and recovery based model of mental health care that will continue to develop with our growing community in the South East growth corridor. Our teams are based in both inpatient and community sites offering collaborative care to clients experiencing mental health difficulties within our area.

The Cranbourne Community Mental Health Team provides an effective and comprehensive service to the Monash Adult Mental Health Program.  The team work across Monday to Sunday 8.30-5pm.  The team provide comprehensive treatment and support to individuals experiencing complex mental health problems, at all times striving to deliver high quality recovery-focused client care as a multi discipline team. Our aim is to promote self-efficacy and independence, and social inclusion with all the individuals we support.

A Day in the Life:

Due to ongoing expansion of our service, we have a number of Full time and Part time ongoing positions open to Registered Nurses and Social Workers with a working history in Mental Health.  This is an excellent opportunity to:

  • Work in Case Management and draw on your knowledge in mental health legislation and policy
  • Utilise your Mental Health clinical experience and skills
  • Undertake a patient caseload and partake in daily team functions including the intake duty role, multi-agency liaison and crisis management.
  • Contact with clients will be at our sites, as well as in their own accommodation.

What you Need:

  • Relevant qualifications (aligned to position descriptions)
  • Demonstrated experience in a mental health setting
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current practicing registration
  • Include any other mandatory/required skills or licences
  • Australian working rights
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
