Community Mental Health Engagement Officer – Warrnambool South West Healthcare

About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking newly graduated Registered and Enrolled nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists to join our Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.  This newly funded role will provide a pathway for newly graduated health professionals to transition into ongoing clinical work, through supporting experienced clinicians in their therapeutic work.

The Community Mental Health Engagement Worker will help to improve outcomes for consumers of our mental health and wellbeing services by providing improved access and assisting consumers and their families and carers to navigate the mental health system and enable access to other services.

This role is a full-time, fixed term position for 18 months, based in the Warrnambool Adult Mental Health Service.
