headspace is funded by the National Youth Mental Health Foundation and the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing under the Youth Mental Health Initiative Program. headspace aims to building resilience in young people aged 12-25 years by delivering effective youth mental health services in partnership with young people, their families and their local communities. headspace is funded to deliver intervention across four core streams: mental health, physical health, sexual health, alcohol & other drug support and vocational/educational support.

 

headspace Lismore is seeking Family and Friends Representatives to provide advice, feedback and support to our programs. These Representatives are valued team voices, promoting family-inclusive practice and representing the needs of family and friends in the work that we do. This is a voluntary role and can be flexible in its scope. It will require attending quarterly Consortium meetings to consult on our programs, and may also include providing relevant feedback and advice as needed, connecting with our Youth Advisory Group, and/or supporting with our Community Engagement activities. This role would suit someone who is passionate about youth wellbeing, has an interest in improving mental health services, and has experience supporting a young person with their mental health.
