Centacare Family and Relationship Services (CFRS) is a non-profit community organisation that supports the strengthening of family and community relationships, particularly where there is vulnerability and disadvantage. The Role:
Centacare Family and Relationship Services is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified professional who would welcome the challenge of taking on a leadership role in beautiful Kingaroy as a Service Delivery Coordinator.
  
This is a full-time position which will oversee the state funded Sexual Assault Service and the Community Connections Program as well as the federally funded Family and Relationship Services program in Kingaroy, leading a local team of three (3).   
  
Please note that the position holder may be required to work an evening shift, which would be between the hours of 12:00pm to 8:00pm weekly, with some flexibility needed in order to meet business requirements. 
  
A Relocation Package will be available and negotiated with the successful candidate should they wish to relocate to the lovely South Burnett region.
  
 Essential requirements for the role:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social or Behavioural Sciences, from a recognised tertiary institution;
  • Eligibility for membership of APS, AASW, or similar recognised professional association;
  • Experience in leading a professional team;
  • Ability to be available for some after-hours work;
  • Have a current Blue Card, or be eligible to apply;
  • Have a current driver’s licence;
  • Agree, if offered employment, to Centacare conducting an Australian Federal Police Criminal History Check;
  • Agree to sign a statutory declaration stating that you have no overseas criminal offences; and
  • Provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, as this is now required for all roles in the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

You will demonstrate:

  • Highly effective communication skills;
  • Extensive interpersonal skills;
  • A high degree of professionalism and integrity in working with clients, colleagues and community stakeholders;
  • The ability to be available for some after-hours work when required;
  • Participation in consultative and collaborative strategies with other Practitioners; and
  • The ability to provide equitable services for clients.

  Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in:
    • Complex family systems;
    • Child informed and inclusive practice;
    • Crisis intervention and risk management (domestic and family violence, child safety, suicidality);
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the oversight of compliance of complex service agreements and diverse funded services, including contemporary knowledge of Family Law Act, Child Protection Act and Domestic Violence Act;
  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resource Management, with a well-developed supervision framework;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and maintain an action learning approach to service delivery activities, as well as skills in change and transition management;
  • Well-developed skills in high level report writing, data and statistical reporting and compliance, and computer literacy;
  • Demonstrated evidence of working as a leader and as part of a leadership team; and
  • Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day operations of service delivery, including site management.
