ABOUT THIS ROLE
YWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Coordinator to join our Domestic and Family Violence Team in our Nowra office. This is a part time (24 hours per week) role on a maximum term contract ending on 30/06/2023, however there is high potential for this to be both extended and have the hours increased.
The role is responsible for the effective and efficient coordination of domestic and family violence programs located primarily in the Southern Highlands and Shoalhaven regions by working with the Regional Manager and service delivery team to:
- drive change and continuous improvement processes
- deliver safe, effective trauma informed client services
- provide case management and care coordination to clients
ABOUT YOU
The ideal applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Psychology and/or extensive experience in the coordination of domestic and family violence programs and/or services.
- Demonstrated ability to apply the requirements necessary to coordinate domestic and family violence programs in the non-government organisation sector.
- Experience in providing regular supervision and support to staff using trauma informed, strengths based reflective practice to build autonomy and resilience.
- Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders and contributing to tender and funding submissions as required.
This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements. This includes:
- Completion of a national criminal history check
- A valid relevant state-based working with children permit.
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters.
