About the role
We have an opportunity for a Coordinator – Family Support Network to join our Youth Wellbeing and Accomodation team on a permanent part time basis, working 60.8 hours a fortnight at our Mirrabooka office.
This role provides a team of Intensive Case Managers and Assessment Coordinators with leadership and oversight to ensure the effective practices and standards of outreach case management, intervention and support to the families is provided. Manage referral pathways, allocate cases within the Family Support Network Team and identify and recommend strategies to address emerging issues.
About you
You’ll be passionate about leading and supporting a team to provide an excellent service to young people and their families. Along with this, you’ll also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in the Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health) is required
- Understanding of evidence-based service models for working with young people and their families
- Experience working with complex young people and their families
- Knowledge in areas of income support, education, substance abuse, working with other cultures, relationship counselling and child abuse
- Prior experience with case work practice within the community sector
- Working with Children Check
- Drivers Licence
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
