We need you, here! As a Counselling Coordinator, you’ll use your counselling and leadership experience, to fulfil a counselling caseload and lead the counselling team.
This position is a full time position, however part time would be considered for the right candidate.
Your opportunity
In this role, you’ll bring your passion for working closely with vulnerable clients to support them by providing best practice counselling services. You’ll also bring your passion for leadership to support the team of counsellors working across a variety of counselling areas. You will do this by:
- Maintaining an agreed clinical caseload
- Providing advocacy, support and referral for clients
- Providing and/or coordinating clinical and operational supervision for the team of counsellors
- Monitoring quantitative and qualitative data collection in line with programme finding requirements.
- Identifying training needs for the counselling team and delivering training sessions as required.
What you’ll bring
- We’d love to see that you have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling.
- A minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience in counselling, social work, psychology or as deemed relevant by Catholic Care.
- Demonstrated experience in individual clinical and operational supervision in accordance with best practice.
- Understanding of the needs of Aboriginal communities and CALD communities
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Competent in relevant computer applications, and data entry. As well as an ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems
- Current NSW Drivers Licence – P1 or above (Motor Cycle Licence may be considered)
