The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our Parenting Orders Program team based in Mackay on a part-time basis. Some travel within the Mackay-Whitsunday Region is expected and regular after hours service delivery is essential.
As a Counsellor, your primary role will be assessment, counselling, referrals, case management and co facilitation of the Business of Parenting Groups. You will also provide group psycho-education to parents.
What do you need
- Possession of a Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution
- Eligible for membership with APS; AASW; or PACFA
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence
- Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
- Willingness to undergo a criminal history check
