About the Role
We are seeking a Counsellor who is interested in the assessment and treatment of patients with a range of conditions or concerns who have been referred to us via their workplace Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Due to the nature of our business you may also be involved in counselling following traumatic workplace events (as also referred through workplace EAP programs), Critical Incident Response (CIR) services, onsite EAP services. On the job training will be provided if you don’t have exposure to these services.
CHG has a broad range of professionals and also offer services in our Gymnasium with equipment suitable for pilates, hydrotherapy and we have a BTE for functional assessments. These complimentary services will ensure you are able to deliver exceptional services to workers focussing and mental and physical health.
For the right applicant, an opportunity exists to work with Clients providing general recommendations regarding wellness improvements to their workplace as well as the delivery of training.

About You
The successful candidate will be a reliable and self-motivated individual with an interest in the delivery of counselling services within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) frame work and related organisational counselling services.
To meet our client requirements you will be able to demonstrate three years experience and membership with either the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Exposure in the delivery of EAP services would be highly advantageous.
