About the role
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working closely with a team of highly skilled clinicians, your responsibilities will include the provision of high quality, culturally sensitive relationship counselling and therapy, including education programs to individuals, couples, and families as required. You will be able to apply your skills and expertise in childhood development and family dynamics to respond to a diverse range of issues: including trauma, violence and abuse, parenting concerns, relational issues, stress and anxiety, separation and divorce and blended families. This position is based in Boronia, is permanent, part-time three (3) days per week with a requirement to work one evening shift weekly.
About you
- Degree in social work, counselling, family therapy or psychology.
- Experience delivering relationship counselling and family violence client services.
- Able to apply therapeutic modalities relevant to working with individuals, couples and families.
- Able to work with individuals / couples where family violence is present and assess for family violence.
- Understand and be able to practically apply relevant legislative regulations.
