About the Program
Our qualified Resolve counsellors work with families, couples and individuals to explore solutions to personal and relationship problems and other challenges. Our approach is person-centered, therapeutic and strengths based.
About the Opportunity
You will deliver culturally appropriate services including individual, couple and family counselling, facilitating group work, community awareness and service promotion activities. You will also provide information and supported referrals to people and families where appropriate. You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
- Higher education (tertiary) qualifications in social science discipline such as Psychology, Social Work or Counselling resulting in eligibility for membership/credentialing with relevant professional / registration body.
- Counselling experience in relevant field along with demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with children, adolescents and adults in a child and family focused approach.
- Maintain registration with professional associations such as the Australian Counselling Association, Australian Association of Social Workers or APHRA
