JOB DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our Parenting Orders Program team based across our Ipswich and Logan offices Full Time basis. Some travel within the offices is expected and regular after hours service delivery is essential.  

As a Counsellor, your primary role will be to provide assessment, counselling, psychoeducation, referrals, case management to parents, as well as co facilitation of the Business of Parenting Groupwork. The role may also provide support to children and families. 

What you’ll need

  • Possession of a Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Eligible for membership with APS; AASW; or PACFA
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence
  • Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal history check
