About the role

Mandurah Baptist College is seeking a compassionate and insightful Counsellor to join the student support team in the senior school. The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications and professional association membership in a relevant discipline, and preferably have prior experience in counselling and/or working with adolescents. 

This is a part time role (FTE 0.5) on a fixed term contract from 23 January 2023 to 12 December 2023 (with possibility of ongoing).

In the event the successful candidate has or is eligible for registration as a psychologist, this role may potentially be combined with a 0.3 school psychology role in our Primary School.

Profile:

  • Qualifications in social work, family therapy, counselling, psychology, or related discipline
  • Professional association membership in a relevant discipline
  • Previous experience in counselling and/or working with adolescents
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Valid Australian work rights to apply for this position
