The Date-Abiilty Project are seeking Student or fully qualified Counsellors to be apart of our Financial Literacy & Date-Ability Programs in Redbank, fortitude valley, Ipswich(QLD) and surrounding suburbs

What are we looking for?

We are looking for students or fully qualified counsellors based in QLD to work as counsellors within our Date-Ability & Financial Literacy Programs, for the above-mentioned areas.
Within Financial Literacy, you will support participants to identify their goals relating to their own personal spending and create week to week strategies to overcome barriers and take steps closer to financial independence & their goals.
-No experience in finance required, it’s all basic budgeting! –

Within The Date-Ability Program, you will facilitate programs around healthy and safe relationships/social connections to small groups of people (NDIS participants), guide participants through games and assist when disclosures or moments of discomfort occur.

We are looking for people with a positive attitude, flexible availability & an understanding of a person centered approach.

We run our programs in locations all over QLD, some reasonable travel is required however it will be for a full day of work.
-The role is primarily for the Redbank, Fortitude Valley & Ipswich area on FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS.
Please consider if being available on a Fridays and Saturdays for work is relevant to you.
-Other Brisbane areas. (On other days as your case load grows)

The nitty gritty requirements-

Our team are required to have the following in order to provide our programs to NDIS participants.

-First Aid.

-Right to work in Australia.

-Valid Drivers License.

-Completion of NDIS modules. (NDIS commission website)

-NDIS Worker Screening clearance

-Full Covid vaccination status.

-Current Registration with an Australian counselling or psychology body

These are MANDATORY- we can assist with obtaining NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. 

Positions will start as Casual with potential to be PPT dependent on program growth and organization needs.
