About us

We are a dynamically growing counselling and psychotherapy practice specialising in couples and relationships. Mornington-based. Our team currently consists of eight passionate and professional counsellors who enjoy working collaboratively and really care about what they do. All our counsellors have extensive experience living abroad and most of us speak multiple languages – so we welcome variety and diversity.

 

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provision of couples and family counselling services. Experience and desire to work with children aged under 12 is desired.
  • Answering client enquiries, managing existing client bookings and collecting payments as required.
  • Attending team meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications/Experience/Professional Registrations: 

  • We are looking for a fully qualified Couples and Family Counsellor with a Master of Counselling qualification with at least 2 (two) year of clinical experience or another tertiary counselling qualification with a minimum of 5 (five) years of relevant clinical experience.
  • ACA or PACFA professional membership and registration with available private health funds.
  • First aid certificate.

Skills:

  • Person-centred counselling skills, relevant counselling and family therapy modalities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Professional verbal and written communication.
  • Organised and able to work in a team in a fast-paced environment.
