We are seeking to fill a PPT .6EFT or .8EFT Creative Art Therapist position.

Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualification and experience in Art Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related discipline and additional training in art and/or play therapy.
- Have a strong understanding of the dynamics and impact of family violence and trauma on child development and knowledge of attachment theory.
- Experience working with clients with complex needs, PTSD, disabilities, family violence, mental illness and life challenges.
- Be a registered member of ANZACATA/ ACA/ PACFA/ AASW or equivalent.
- Complete Safety Screening processes, including NDIS Worker Screening, a Working with Children Check and Police Records Check etc
Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop and deliver counselling and arts based therapeutic treatment to children, adolescence, and adults
- Complete assessments and reporting tasks to inform the ongoing therapy need for clients.
- Provide consultancy and support to external agencies, parents and/or carers regarding the individual client’s need.
- Manage client files, calendars and keep accurate case notes using our online Client Management System.
- Respond to inquiries, referrals and intake processes.
- Provide flexible delivery of services in our practice rooms, in clients homes and in education settings.
