About the opportunity
This is a rewarding and challenging role providing quality care to the children of clients accessing WHFS services. This will include ensuring the safety and well-being of children accessing crèche facilities.
We are looking for a motivated Crèche Worker to join our Children and Family Services Team. Working closely with the wider team, you will be responsible for facilitating child appropriate play and learning activities for children.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children accessing crèche facilities while considering risk management principles.
- Communicating observations and concerns regarding any children attending the crèche as they arise to relevant employees.
- Effectively support and communicate with clients accessing crèche facilities showing consideration for their individual needs.
- In collaboration with the Senior Crèche Worker, maintaining and sanitising equipment to a high standard.
Successful completion of a tertiary qualification in early childhood studies (or relevant field) or ability to demonstrate significant experience in childcare will be required. Previous experience or exposure to working with a wide range of client groups would be highly regarded.
This is a permanent part-time position, working 22 hours per week across four weekdays. You will be based out of our Northbridge officer. Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
