JOB DESCRIPTION

LifeWorks is Australia’s second largest Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provider and the largest EAP Provider Globally.

This is an opportunity to work with staff in large Australian and Multinational corporate organisations, industry, and Australian Government departments across all levels (Local/State/Federal) – to be part of a team that provides counselling and crisis response. 

We are seeking motivated and experienced Psychologists, Social Workers and Counsellors with proven experience in psychological first-aid and critical incident and response management. We have positions available across Australia, in both urban and rural areas. 

We are looking for providers who:

  • Are caring, compassionate and driven to make a positive difference in people’s lives
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Are self-motivated and can respond quickly to situations
  • Have excellent time management skills
  • Are knowledgeable, proactive, quick thinking
  • Are willing to travel either state-wide or interstate

 

We are looking for providers that have:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a short-term intervention style.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Behavioural Sciences (Counsellors MUST have Master of Counselling).
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (AHPRA / AASW/PACFA/ACA).
  • ABN of either Sole Trader, Partnership, Australian Company, or Trustee 
  • Means of transportation 
  • Proof of vaccination COVID-19 certificate
