You will be working in North Ryde with a small dynamic team and will be partnering with primary schools across the Northern Sydney region
What you’ll be doing
Getting on Track in Time (Got It!) is a school-based early intervention program supporting children with their social and emotional. The program assists parents and teachers to support children’s emotional and social development.
This position, as part of a multi-disciplinary specialist mental health team, is responsible for the delivery of the Got It! Program including a range of services to the children and families, in partnership with NSW Department of Education.
The clinician will liaise and work closely with health and educational staff, particularly teachers and student support services staff and will be expected to provide education and training to classroom teachers involved in Got It! The Got It! Program provides teacher and parent education and small group programs, within the school context.
This position requires strong inter-personal skills, presentation and training skills and the ability to partner with NSW Education Staff and local services.
The program is funded under the NSW Government’s Keep Them Safe – A shared approach to child well-being and aligned to the NSW School-Link Initiative. The program is informed by the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and Schools Early Action (CASEA) program, first piloted in Victoria in 2004.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy or nursing and relevant registration with AHPRA and eligibility to the AASW. Meet criteria for full registration for psychologists.
- High level of interpersonal skills and commitment to working closely with other members of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience and skill in developing, implementing and evaluating programs including clinical groups for adults and children.
