Our opportunity
The Dads Toolkit program aims to strengthen father?s relationships with their children, while working to ensure the safety of affected family members which is support be active case management and group-based support. The group component offers opportunity for open discussion and consideration of an individual?s use of violent and controlling behaviours through a trauma informed, family violence and child focused lens.
As a level 5 Practitioner you will provide support to the level 4 Practitioner, manage complex cases/lead the go-facilitation of groups and take a lead role in reflective case reviews and presentation of case studies. You will also support the Dad?s Toolkit program in allocation and demand meetings.

About you
We are looking for a motivated community services practitioner to join our team at Cafs. To be successful for the role we are looking for candidates who hold the below skills and attributes:
� Tertiary Qualification in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Youth Work or related discipline (mandatory)
� A dedicated and committed individual, you will provide services to fathers and their families, providing case management and group participation services
� Strong skills in completing thorough safety and wellbeing assessments, care plans and therapeutic interventions (mandatory)
� Ability to apply a range of strategies to achieve client outcomes that are in the best interest of the children and families.
� Passion for assisting fathers to achieve long-term positive outcomes and be confident to run group sessions with fathers participating in the program.
