Berkeley Vale Private Hospital is seeking a dynamic DBT Group Therapist to join our supportive team in a Permanent part-time or casual capacity.
About the Role
This position requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated DBT Group Facilitator to be part of an exciting opportunity working with adults delivering outpatient Dialectical Behavioural Therapy programs including individual therapy and/or group sessions.
This job will suit someone with mental health experience working with mood, anxiety and emotion dysregulation problems with adults.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated, energetic and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism. You will have excellent clinical and communication skills and strive to have a positive impact on the wellbeing of patients.
This position would be ideally suited to someone who:
- Has prior experience in facilitating group therapy using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and / or an interest in developing these skills.
- Has previous experience in facilitating 1:1 individual therapy, although not required
- Qualifications in a relevant speciality of Allied health e.g. Psychology or Counselling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Completed professional development in DBT.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Has experience managing challenging behaviours in a group setting
- Has experience in managing presentations of suicidality and self-harm

Requirements
Everyone who joins Ramsay:
