Residential Experience Division has multiple positions available for motivated student experience professionals to join the team as the Deputy Head of Residence and the Residential Wellbeing Coordinator. 

Position overview

The Residential Experience Division, within the Service Portfolio delivers on whole of University strategic priorities relating to our on-campus student accommodation, providing a safe and welcoming environment to enable students to achieve their highest academic outcomes. The Residential Experience Division works closely with a number of areas across the University including the University Experience Division (student safety, wellbeing support and clinical services), Facilities and Services, academic colleges and service partners such as finance and information technology.

The University’s on-campus accommodation provides different rooms across 18 residences for over 5,500 students. The dedicates teams at the Residence are the first point of contact for our students living on campus, addressing enquiries, providing wellbeing advice and referrals and creating a vibrant residential community. 

Multiple positions – the Deputy Head of Residence (Expected vacancies/ongoing/fixed-term)

The Deputy Head of Residence will deliver programs at the Residence that help provide a world class residential experience to the students on campus. Working closely with partners across the University, the Deputy Head will help create a safe, respectful, supportive and inclusive living experience through co-ordination of the Residence as a community, with particular emphasis on academic, wellbeing and pastoral care, safety and student development.

Multiple positions – the Residential Wellbeing Coordinator (Expected vacancies/ongoing/fixed-term)

The Residential Wellbeing Coordinator will be responsible for the co-ordination of the residential support team to provide support to residents and create a safe, inclusive and academically and personally successful community.

The Residential Wellbeing Coordinator will work closely with the key stakeholders such as the Respectful Relationships Unit and the critical incident and wellbeing teams and other internal external support services to deliver strategic projects that will enhance both the residential and non-residential student experience.
