Haileybury Rendall School is seeking a Director of Student Wellbeing. The incumbent will be an enthusiastic, engaged and highly effective professional with a sound knowledge of contemporary wellbeing issues across the whole school from Early Learning to Year 12, to commence full-time in an ongoing capacity from January 2023. 

The Director of Student Wellbeing is a significant Executive position and works closely with the Head of Schools, Deputy Principal and the Principal to set and implement the School’s direction in all elements of student wellbeing.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Exceptional expertise in school leadership with strong experience in the wellbeing space
  • A creative and strategic thinker who can generate ideas and execute them with skill, warmth and positivity
  • Proven success at devising, managing and delivering a contemporary and successful whole school wellbeing curriculum
  • Excellent people, change and process management skills
  • An in-depth understanding of the key wellbeing issues currently facing young people of all ages

Other

  • TRB registration and Criminal Record Check within the last 12 months
  • Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
  • High volume capacity to deliver at a fast pace
  • Highly organised administrative skills, including time-management

All teaching staff at Haileybury Rendall School work together to fulfil the School’s mission: to develop high-achieving students who are connected and engaged globally, to each other and to the communities in which they live and will serve. 

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Haileybury Rendall School’s executive salary scale. The role is similar to Assistant Principal in other institutions.
