Hability is an NDIS registered service provider that specialises in developing and implementing therapeutic interventions for young adults with complex behavioural, mental health, disability and medical needs.

*options to move to a perm part time within 3 to 6 months

Essential Criteria
* Willing to work shift work including days, weekends, nights, active overnights and emergency/on call shifts across a 24/7 roster.
* Ability to be flexible, strong and resilient in various challenging situations
* Demonstrate good listening skills, and build rapport and trust between clients
* Have demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to team goals
* You will show passion and commitment and be able to problem solve and think on your feet
* Demonstrate sound computer knowledge (including reporting systems and Microsoft Office) and have competent administrative and documentation skills
* A current Australian Drivers Licence and be willing to transport people in a company provided car when required
* Hold a current First Aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
* Hold a current Working With Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one
* Willingness to undergo a National Police Check upon employment.
Desirable Criteria
* A minimum VET qualification in relevant disciplines of; Childcare, Education, Community Services, Disability, Mental Health services or alike.
* Demonstrated understanding of Positive Behaviour Support strategies and plan implementation
* Experience supporting adults or young people with challenging behaviours, Complex Trauma, PTSD, substance misuse and conduct disorder
* Experience with supporting activities of daily living including personal care, manual handling and medications
