The Role:
If successful in this role you will:
- Respond to referrals of woman that have experienced Domestic Violence.
- Conduct assessments and undertake safety planning.
- Make referrals of a range of service providers.
- Attend court to support clients and development and maintain partnerships with Police, courts, legal representatives, and other services as required.
Candidate:
- Qualifications in a social welfare related field.
- Experience working with women that have experienced domestic violence.
- Understanding the criminal justice in response to domestic and family violence including AVO applications and criminal prosecutions.
- experience working with multicultural communities, another language will be desirable (but not essential)
