What you’ll do
You’ll receive referrals from the NSW Police and Justice Department and proactively contact men who have recently experienced Domestic and Family Violence (DFV).

There are no after-hours requirements.

  • Based at Wollongong
  • Approx $44 per hour + super, leave loading, salary packaging benefits

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualification in social work, counselling, psychology, or related field
  • Experience working with DFV and an understanding of the needs of men who have experienced DFV
  • Ability to undertake client safety assessments and safety planning
  • Ability to respond to complex referrals involving liaising with police and reporting child protection concerns
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume phone-based referral program

Why work with us?

  • Address a hidden side of Domestic and Family Violence and ensure the safety of clients
  • Strong supervision framework to support your development and deepen practice excellence
  • We offer many benefits including salary packaging, additional leave days, and fitness passport
  • We value inclusion and belonging. We want a workforce that is reflective of all the communities we serve. To strengthen our inclusive practice we have employee action groups: Accessibility, Reconciliation, Gender, Sex & Sexually Diverse and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD)
  • RANSW is committed to deepening our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Our RAP guides our efforts to build strong relationships, increased employment opportunities, and enhanced respect between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other communities
