As a Drug and Alcohol Case Worker at Tobwabba Aboriginal Community Medical Service ACMS, you will provide Case coordination, support and complete assessments for clients with DoA and or Mental Health issues.
You will be provided with support from the Tobwabba ACMS Management team, while working alongside- Doctors, Psychologists, Counsellor’s, Nurse’s and the rest to the Tobwabba ACMS team. If successful, you will be utilising your Experience in Case coordination,Trauma informed care/practice, and working in Aboriginal communities. This role is for the Indigenous Mental Health, (IMH) program, and is to assist and support clients with recovery and treatment options. You will make appropriate referrals to other services as needed and work effectively and collaboratively.
About You:
The successful candidate must hold relevant qualifications and have experience-Mental Health worker, DoA Case Manager, Aboriginal Health Practitioner, Mental Health Nurse or similar.
You will also possess high level communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate must have the ability to and be willing to travel to various sites, Local Travel is required.
