JOB DESCRIPTION

Housing Plus is a leading NFP Community Services Provider with a 40 year history, providing housing, domestic violence, homelessness and other community services in NSW. With offices in Orange, Bathurst, Mudgee, Dubbo and Parkes and services reaching the Central, Western and Hunter regions of NSW, our purpose is to achieve healthy, engaged and vibrant communities in which individuals enjoy opportunities to thrive and build a promising future for their families.

We are now looking for a DV Specialist to work as part of our Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, based from Dubbo. As part of a passionate team, the DV Specialist will deliver best practice support services to women and children experiencing domestic violence in the Western region of NSW.

To be successful, you will require strong experience in Community Services, ideally within the DFV Sector; proven ability to professionally and sensitively deliver client services to clients experiencing emotional distress; well-developed communication skills; and demonstrated experience in identifying key stakeholders and establishing effective relationships.
