EAP Clincian – Critical Incident Management Reporting Assure Programs

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role:

We know that mental health is impacting on so many individuals, families and organisations in our communities and EAP provides an opportunity to access professional mental health support in a timely manner.  This role will focus on trauma and critical incident management reporting.

In this role you will contribute to the values driven, highly professional and ethical delivery of services to Assure customers through the provision of services including EAP counselling, wellbeing coaching, clinical interventions, and critical incident management. These services are delivered via face-to-face sessions or through digital channels as required. 
The work will include:

  • Assessments of client’s presenting concerns and related risk
  • Use short term solution focused therapy to identify goals and provide appropriate skills and strategies to achieve them
  • Provision of counselling to individuals with a variety of presenting issues including but not limited to mental, emotional, lifestyle management and work life concerns.
  • Working autonomously with your clients and ensuring best practice in your approach to client work
  • Being aware of additional services that Assure offer, such as facilitation, group sessions, digital chat, on-site work and manager support, to build skills and opportunities to develop
  • Developing networks with both internal and external subject matter experts

Professional Development

Complex and Diverse Work
Within the EAP sector, our clinicians case load includes a range of presenting concerns and various presenting symptoms and diagnosed conditions.  Our role will be to assist individuals to engage in receiving the correct support either through EAP and/or through referrals for longer term intervention.
