JOB DESCRIPTION

Hays Migration is a boutique education and migration consultancy with its head office located in the Adelaide CBD and branch offices in Hobart, Melbourne and China.  We are currently seeking full-time Education Counsellor / Registered Migration Agent. 

 

Education Counsellor

  • Conduct consultation with international students to study in Australia; 
  • Assist clients with school/university applications, offer letters, confirmation of enrolment (CoE), and enrolment procedures;
  • Assist clients in preparing documents for Australian Student Visa applications;
  • General administrative duties include handling queries via phone, email, and general correspondences, filing and archiving files, etc;
  • Corresponding with potential students and institutions with regards to applications;
  • Manage student applications, selection, and admission.

 

Migration Agent

  • Consult and market with potential clients for various service needs;
  • Research relevant Migration Regulations, maintain sufficient technical knowledge to advise and respond on technical matters;
  • Manage the progress of client files, and meet deadlines;
  • Keep up to date with policy, regulation, and industry changes, and provide internal training;
  • Provide accurate information to prospective clients and Assist clients to achieve their desired visa outcomes;

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant position – essential;
  • Fluent in a language other than English – desirable;
  • Work under pressure and meet monthly targets;
  • Be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task efficiently and effectively;
  • Be able to work to high standards in a fast-paced environment;
  • Have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
  • Present professionally and provide excellent customer service;
  • Students currently studying migration law and practice are encouraged to apply.
