On 4 July, we welcomed Northern Area Mental Health Services and North West Area Mental Health Services, we also welcomed the staff of Merv Irvine Nursing Home and McLellan House. Collectively, this makes us the third largest mental health service in Victoria!

There are multiple exciting opportunities in multidisciplinary roles for enthusiastic Emergency Mental Health Clinician to join the Northern Area Mental Health Service team at Northern Health.
You will:
- Provide high level of clinical expertise within the Emergency Mental Health and PACER services.
- Provide high quality clinical mental health assessment, support, interventions and treatment to mental health consumers across Northern Hospital ED.
- Provide support to families, carers and support people of consumers.
- Perform assessments, consultation and consider management plans for consumers.
About you:
- You will be registered under AHPRA in Occupational Therapy, Psychologist, Registered Psychiatric Nurse or degree in Social Work
- Demonstrated experience working in a variety of clinical mental health settings
- High level of skills and knowledge in conducting mental health consultation and risk assessments
- Ability to develop management plans and comprehensive care formulations for mental health consumers
