There are multiple exciting opportunities in multidisciplinary roles for enthusiastic Emergency Mental Health Clinician to join the Northern Area Mental Health Service team at Northern Health.

You will:

  • Provide high level of clinical expertise within the Emergency Mental Health and PACER services.
  • Provide high quality clinical mental health assessment, support, interventions and treatment to mental health consumers across Northern Hospital ED.
  • Provide support to families, carers and support people of consumers.
  • Perform assessments, consultation and consider management plans for consumers.

About you:

  • You will be registered under AHPRA in Occupational Therapy, Psychologist, Registered Psychiatric Nurse or degree in Social Work
  • Demonstrated experience working in a variety of clinical mental health settings
  • High level of skills and knowledge in conducting mental health consultation and risk assessments
  • Ability to develop management plans and comprehensive care formulations for mental health consumers
