Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 12 months experience as an Employment Placement Consultant within occupational rehabilitation, or relevant field.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Client centric focus
Tasks & responsibilities
- Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;
- Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence;
- Provide customer service in employment services and job placement;
- Develop and maintain relationships with Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, Employers, Insurers and Brokers
- Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;
- Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations;
- Complete written progress reports and Labour Market Analysis reports on a regular basis
