Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 12 months experience as an Employment Placement Consultant within occupational rehabilitation, or relevant field.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Client centric focus

 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;
  • Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence;
  • Provide customer service in employment services and job placement;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, Employers, Insurers and Brokers
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;
  • Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations; 
  • Complete written progress reports and Labour Market Analysis reports on a regular basis
