Entry Level Behaviour Support Practitioner – Bendigo

As an entry level Behaviour practitioner role, you will be provided extensive support, professional development opportunities and the chance to be a part of a growing team.

The role is based in our Shepparton office and would consider part time for the right person.

Goals of the position:

  • Opportunity to manage your own caseload of participants, primarily developing person-centred strategies for individuals with complex or comorbid disabilities.
  • Develop and Monitor Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Create, supervise, and ensure behaviour support plans meet clinical and NDIS requirements.
  • Prepare monthly reports to the NDIS where required.
  • Develop, monitor, and action individualised risk plans to mitigate incidents and hazards.

About you:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Education or other relevant allied health qualification
  • Must have an empathetic disposition, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing clinical and/or behavioural assessment, intervention, and support is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the NDIS, and relevant disability legislation desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence.
  • Must have an NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one.
