EOI – Trauma Consultants – Northern NSW

Psychologists/Social Workers

•           Combination of triage/assessment and onsite response work

•           Full-time, Part-time employment and contractor opportunities available

•           Work with Government and corporate clients

•           Partner up with a leading Mental Health services provider

Seeking committed trauma management specialists who can support a diverse range of clients.

We are seeking motivated and experienced registered Psychologists and Social Workers to provide critical incident, general debriefing and crisis counselling support to our client organisations in the Northern Rivers and associated flood affected areas. Using Psychological First Aid (PFA) and other trauma specific interventions and approaches to support individuals and their organisations through providing triage, one-on-one trauma support and group sessions.

About you

·       Experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counselling.

·       Relevant experience and minimum 3 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy services

·       Demonstrated ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution- focused advice to achieve agreed outcomes

·       Have a passion to help people and enjoy working flexibly in a fast-paced environment

·       Excellent time management skills, report writing skills and your willingness to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude

·       Demonstrated ability and experience in delivering People Assist services (EAP, RRS).

  • High level negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders

A tertiary qualification in Behavioural Sciences and registration with the appropriate professional body is required. A current driver’s licence and your own vehicle is a must.
