About the business
Our Equine Assisted Therapy programs are a way of addressing children’s therapeutic goals through experiences with horses.
The therapy provides a safe environment for children to self-explore, build self-awareness of patterns, behaviours and habits, for the intention of personal development and social-emotional learning.
Our programs are delivered by Allied Health Professionals and include grooming, touching, meeting and/or observing horses, obstacle challenges and mounted experiences.
Due to rapid expansion of these services we are seeking an additional Practitioner to support our established programs.
About the role
Our Equine Assisted Therapy Practitioners have a wide and varied role. As part of delivering individual Therapy sessions they find themselves preparing resources and facilities, leading, tracking and observing horse / client interaction, supporting the team, leading assistants, evaluating data, completing administrative duties and much, much more!
If you’re an Allied Health Professional, love being with horses and are passionate about helping children to achieve their goals then this is the role for you.
