WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a passionate and empathetic individual who is committed to supporting families experiencing housing instability and homelessness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations and will be driven by a desire to make a positive impact in the community. You should be a skilled communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse families and be adaptable in a fast-paced and often complex environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Families Outreach Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You will provide direct assistance, build relationships with families, and collaborate with other service providers to ensure the delivery of comprehensive support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: case management, crisis intervention, resource navigation, advocacy, collaborating with stakeholders, data tracking and reporting.
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
Reporting into the Families Outreach Team Leader of HART 4000, you will work alongside and in collaboration with our dynamic HART 4000 Homelessness Intervention Team.
