In order to continue to strengthen our impact in the community, we now have multiple opportunities for Family & Child Practitioners to join the FamilyCare team and begin making a difference in the communities across Cobram, Wallan, Seymour and Shepparton.

In addition to a competitive salary of $67,980 – $102,324 (depending on qualifications and experience), you will be rewarded for your important work with:

  • Salary packaging options available up to $16,000 to increase your take-home pay
  • Meals and entertainment packaging available up to $2,500

  • 3 additional paid leave days between Christmas and New Year in addition to 4 weeks annual leave
  • 12 days sick leave (pro-rata) during first year of employment, which extends up to 21 days after 3 years of employment with FamilyCare

How You’ll Make a Difference

Working in the Child and Family Services unit, you will be engaging with families where there are children up to 18 years of age with the overarching goal to prevent child abuse and neglect, and to support the family through difficult times and/or major life transitions.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

To be considered for this role, you must hold, at minimum, a Diploma of Community Services (Bachelor of Social Work/Welfare preferred). We also require candidates to hold a Working with Children Check, unrestricted driver’s licence, and  a National Police History Check.
