Our opportunity
Family Services places a strong emphasis on the safety, wellbeing and the development of children with a child focused, family centred approach. Family Services Case Managers work with vulnerable children, young people and their families who may be impacted by trauma, substance abuse, mental health or family violence and are potentially at risk of becoming involved with the Child Protection system or are already involved with child protection. Family Services Case Managers work across a range of families and locations in Central Highlands. The focus of all work with families is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and to keep them safe and secure.

About you
We are looking for a motivated community services practitioner to join our team at Cafs. To be successful for this role we are looking for candidates who hold the below skills and attributes: ? Tertiary Qualification in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Youth Work or related discipline (Mandatory) ? Ability to complete thorough assessments, planning, consultation and evaluation ? Ability to apply a range of strategies to achieve client outcomes that are in the best interest of children and families ? Strong interpersonal skills with experience working with a range of clients ? A driven advocate to assist families to achieve long-term positive outcomes. ?
