About the role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will work with our team of highly skilled and dedicated practitioners providing FDR and family mediation to separating couples by assisting to resolve issues in dispute such as parenting arrangements, property settlements and developing parenting plans. Your responsibilities include providing conflict resolution, parent education, a framework for negotiation, undertaking assessments and mediation, group work (as required), providing information, support, and referrals to match presenting needs to services and programs. 

This role is located at our Berwick Centre, and is a permanent, part-time position working three to four (3-4) days per week, with one evening shift per week.

About you

  • Degree qualified in Social Work, Family Law Social Sciences, and a Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.
  • Accreditation as an FDRP with the Attorney-General’s Department.
  • Previous experience working as an FDRP and/or Mediator (desirable).
  • Experience/or training in property mediation, able to undertake training (preferable).

The base salary range is $92k-$99k (pro-rata) per annum.
