Family Resource Practitioner – Young Families YFS Ltd

JOB DESCRIPTION

YFS is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Family Practitioner who is keen to back young parents and their children to thrive. 

You’ll be part of an exciting integration initiative. Our new service model brings together a multi-disciplinary team to back young parents and their families to overcome adversity through relationship-based work and access to specialists.

About the job

Role location: Slacks Creek 
Role type: Permanent, full-time 
Pay range: $77,832 to $79,864 a year based on experience, with salary sacrificing available 

Family Resource Practitioners build strong relationships with young families, to support them to articulate their goals and ambitions, developing a tailored response to young families and “do what it takes” to support each family member to thrive.

The team works together to build young parents’ capacity, confidence and wellbeing and improve children’s development.

You will adapt approaches to the work depending on the family’s capacity and circumstances at the time.

About you

If you are passionate and knowledgeable about backing young parents to thrive, and well-equipped with case management, coaching or support work experience working with vulnerable families, we would love to hear from you.

The job will involve responding to the specific needs of young parents through a new evidence informed service model. Direct experience working with young people, particularly young parents, will be highly regarded.
