The Role
As Family Support Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Gold Coast Family Accommodation Support Service program.
A key deliverable of this role is the coordination of service delivery, accountability for program outcomes and responsibility for the management and outputs of employees within the line management chain.
A key requirement of this position is the ability to work within relevant funding guidelines and agreements, legislative requirements and SVdP’s policies and procedures.
This is a FIXED-TERM (until 30/06/2024) FULL-TIME POSITION (38 hours per week) based in Southport.
To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria:
• Tertiary Qualification in Community Services, or in a related discipline.
• Demonstrated program coordination and leadership skills, including human resources and financial management, quality assurance, risk management and reporting.
• Knowledge of and ability to work within relevant funding guidelines and legislative requirements relating to the delivery of program outcomes and safety and risk.
• Experience working within homelessness sector is highly desirable.
• Previous experience as a coordinator of an equivalent senior position with accountability for operational outcomes and direct reports.
• Ability to lead and manage others including advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively initiate and implement change and continuous improvements in program management, including development, coordination and evaluation of program policies, procedures and reporting.
• Current Queensland Driver’s License required.
• Current Blue Card and proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) status required.
• Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society.
