Family Support Worker

Casual – mostly Saturdays, occasional Sundays

Midland, Gosnells, Mandurah

Relationships Australia WA is a leading provider of relationship support services to the West Australian community with professional and highly motivated staff.

About the role

We are offering a casual role of Family Support Worker in the team at our Midland, Gosnells and Mandurah locations. The position involves working in a service which provides changeover and supervised contact services for separated parents who are in conflict or when there are parenting concerns.  We work with families to foster safe and positive interaction between children and their parents, and to strengthen these relationships. Family Support Workers supervise parents and their children on weekends. The current vacancy is approximately 1 Saturday per week. 

Skills, experience, and qualifications

We are seeking people to have, or are currently working towards, undergraduate psychology, youth work and social work qualifications and relevant experience working with families for the position
