Luma (formerly Womens Health & Family Services) is an independent for purpose Western Australian organisation with an organisational vision of better futures for WA women.

About the opportunity
We are seeking a Family Therapist to join our Mental Health & Counselling team. This role would suit a clinician with expertise in nurturing strong family relationships, and who shares our passion of better futures for WA women.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering family therapy interventions, targeting families where children and youth (up to 25 years old) are at risk of mental health concerns. Our Family Therapists support families to develop a clearer understanding of their relationships, recognise roles and patterns within their family, enhance communication and offer support to identify and promote strengths within the family system.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated knowledge and experience in offering family therapy interventions to families with complex co-occurring needs. A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline along with post-graduate specialist training in systemic family therapy is essential for success in this role. Demonstrated expertise with offering attachment-based interventions and family systems approaches with children, adolescents and their families is essential.
This is a permanent part-time position working three days per week across both our Northbridge & Joondalup locations.
