Are you a qualified Financial Counsellor with a passion for supporting vulnerable and disaster affected communities?

CatholicCare provides a broad range of innovative social services in response to the needs of communities in western NSW.

We are seeking a committed individual, who is an accredited member of Financial Counselling Association of NSW, to provide information, options and advocacy for individuals and families who are experiencing financial disadvantage.

The position works from a client centered, strengths-based approach, with a focus on maintaining client dignity, choice, and empowerment to achieve meaningful life outcomes. 

Do you have experience or interest in natural disaster financial counselling, or supporting people affected by problem gambling?

Offering a maximum term contract to 28 June 2024, and if further funding is made available, an additional contract may be offered to the incumbent. The position is full-time, however, part-time may be considered. The position can be based in Forbes, Parkes, Orange, or Dubbo with other locations by negotiation. Travel is required to outlying areas.
