$94,160 p/a + superannuation

Salary sacrifice up to $15,900 p/year + $2,650 for entertainment.

Full-time – Fixed-Term Position based in Emerald, Rockhampton or Biloela

About the role:

We are currently seeking a full-time Recruitment, Training & Assessment Office to join our Emerald team however you may be based in Emerald, Rockhampton or Biloela. Our Recruitment, Training & Assessment Officer will be responsible for the recruitment, training and assessment of suitable foster and kinship carers within the Central Highlands region.

They will:

  • Deliver the Department of Communities – Child Safety Services Quality Care Training package.
  • Design and coordinate training programs.
  • Assist program staff with advice regarding training methods and techniques.
  • Develop and enhance recruitment strategies to increase the number of potential and approved Foster, Kinship and Intensive Carers.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • A Bachelors Degree in Social or Behavioural Sciences, Social Work or Psychology (or related discipline) is highly desirable or Cert IV Community Services (Child Protection) with significant experience in a similar field.
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check Positive Notice or Exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (Disability Services Positive Notice or Exemption Notice)
