We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical therapist looking to take the next step in their career.

Be part of an experienced team of passionate therapists who are implementing Queensland’s first Functional Family Therapy – Child Welfare (FFT-CW) program. FFT-CW is an evidence-informed therapy program that achieves lasting behaviour change for vulnerable families in the Browns Plains and Beaudesert region. 

You’ll be working with families and children in their homes to create change by helping them to understand their strengths and teaching them new ways to solve problems.

As well as having clinical experience, the person for this role will need to be flexible, engaging and have a high level of emotional intelligence.

There’s no doubt this is a challenging role: it will also be an opportunity to develop your clinical skills with lots of support, clinical reflection and training, working with a supportive team.

About the job

Role location: Jimboomba
Role type: Permanent, full-time 
Pay range: $89,042 – $97,280 a year based on experience, with salary packaging exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax available

You will:

  • work flexible hours, including two or more evenings a week
  • be based at our Jimboomba office
  • provide weekly structured therapy sessions in line with the FFT-CW phased model
  • benefit from intensive training in the FFT-CW model, regular ongoing clinical support and a flexible work environment that includes working from home options.
