About the role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health. As part of the team you’ll support people to get well and working. Applicants based anywhere in the NT, or looking to relocate to the NT are encouraged to apply. We are open to full time or part time applicants!

As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage in formal and experiential training to develop the skills you need to feel competent and confident in your role
  • Undertaking worksite, psychological functional, psychological early intervention, and vocational assessments
  • Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
  • Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Providing adjustment to injury, support and vocational counselling

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in any of the following
    • Psychology (provisional accepted), Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Registration or eligibility to register with AHRPA, AASW, ASORC or RCAA
  • Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is compulsory)
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
